No one seems to wan to provide that, just excuses and "it should work". I feel that the excuse train is going to keep rolling and just waiting for next year's release or hoping that someone fixes the issue in the installer isn't going to work. If any company that you didn't know asked you to do this, you would throw the software in the trash. To those that say you should uninstall your anti-virus or other security measures to install a piece of software, this should be a red flag. I had to install driver 23.4 again before installing 23.5 without uninstalling. Software companies like to play this game that it must be your machine. Hello, I always uninstall the older Lan driver before install the new with version 23.5 its not possible anymore to install the driver.
If Autodesk has made functional changes to their installer and it is "getting blocked" then it IS the installer and not the machine/OS. Before you go down a road of patronizing condescension, I am an admin on the machine, have checked security roles, cleared temp folder, rebooted, tried your two versions of the installer, etc. Over a few months now, I have tried everything. I find it curious that an "expert" doesn't see that the problem is with Autodesk's new installer.
